A day to remember.

i still can't believe we did such a thought-to-be absurd thing today. WE HAD OUR NICE PICNIC AT POTONG PASIR GRASS. i woke up late in the morning and nearly freaked out when i realised that there wasn't a can of tuna left at home. luckily i still managed to buy 2 cans at the petrol kiosk; of course biscuits are bought too to complement it.

Reached PP MRT stn at 8.30 SHARP. :D i wasnt late! and besides, i wasnt the latest. george and yiqi were still at the SAS bus stop waiting for bus. haha. so it dragged and dragged and in the end we started walking out of the mrt at 8.55am. HA. so as we walked out from the station, we were glancing at the PP GRASS. erm and we thought it was rather weird and funny to see STUDENTS picnicking at such ungodly hours of 9am.

so we ended up at the grass beside the spider web playground. the sun position kept shifting, and our poor guys had to keep up with it. haha. in the end we got quite tired of shifting, so we decided to picnic at the BACK OF THE PP CC. randomness. but seriously, the setting is like a secret garden with less disturbance, annoyance from sun shifting, and the weird glares from people. there was this auntie who thought that we were quite a cute bunch; she kept um-chio-ing to herself as she peered in through the foliage of the trees. of course, there are many funny classic random acts in this cute clique of mine. haha and our morning started right.

Today's Amazing Race was tiring. haha but at least it was fun. though we didn't win (neither did we manage to complete), our class bonding was placed into act. or rather, group bonding since there's only our clique & shinni, val and janice. everyone got wet and dirty in the end but it was worth. :D BY THE WAY, my mortal showed up to my surprise; i thought he would totally pon. still, he didnt make any significant contributions to our games.
