hello, this is korean fever!

1. Topone last friday with Tingyu, Janice and Ruiqi was great!
hahahaha so high until we spilt lemon tea LOL.
but till the end of the session all of us were too tired to move.
karaoke always cheers me up (:
hope we can have another session before my camp and sch starts, cos by that time i might be dropdead busy.
and hopefully by then, I've mastered "Nobody" and "Toc Toc Toc" in korean!



2. Guitar Hero @ tingyu's house

i think it's a cool gadget! hahaha and tingyu is a pro drummer seriously. just looking at the rhythm that comes along, you might already feel how tired her hands will be. clap clap for tingyu! hahaha.

and another funny is the jamming jump shot attempt with janice. jump until we tired already but still doesnt look right. hahah so we gave up and tingyu used her broom and bamboo stick instead. for (unglam) pictures, see ruiqi and val's FB.



3. I mass downloaded some MVs and I fell in love with F.T Island! :D
hahahah i think their voices quite nice leh.

I LIKE LEE HONGKI! :D
and to my shock, he's born in 1990 also.
at this age, people like him are out there in the glam light and we are here worrying about uni and all the nots and what nots.
what a world of difference, isn't it?
but then come to think of it, we're all near 20 years old and that isn't young at all.

4. My new k-pop female icon is YOUNHA! :D
She's got her own style!
and I heard she's famous in Japan too.

I like her voice a lot, especially in the "Umbrella" song duet with Epik High.
*note: this isn't the Rihanna ella ella ella song.
My sister was like: "HOW COME NO ELLA ELLA PART?!?!?!" after finish watching the WHOLE mv. RETARDEDNESS LOL.
but the MV is cool with all the colours and still art.

5. I'm quite disgusted by the China version of Meteor Garden.
It doesn't kill them by not having a China version of this show right.
Ugggh.

Having watched the Taiwan, Japan and Korea version,
I think the China one is being redundant.

looking at the actors/actresses role chart in the above website:


For Goo Jun Pyo:
1) Jerry Yan and Lee Min Ho - acting on par and look quite alike
2) Jap version more similar to original anime character
3) Lee Min Ho portrays a nicer person and has nicer curls
4) China version looks too friendly to portray a notorious leader of F4


For the female lead:
1) Barbie Hsu looks most like the anime, but acting is -.-
2) Mao Inoue (Jap) portrays the character best
3) Koo Hye Sun has the best acting skills though her terrible image of Ju Hua in Pure 19 is still deeply etched in my head
4) China version looks over-aged for uniforms.


For Hanazawa Rui:
1) Vic Zhou's acting is really looking too depressed.
2) Oguri Shun is the best, with nice violin moves.
3) Kim Hyun Joong is the sweetest.
4) WHY IS THE CHINA ONE LOOKING SO GU-NIANG?!?!


For Kim Bum's character:
1) KIM BUM IS THE BEST. DUH~
2) Ken Chu is totally out of the picture.
3) Jap's Soljiro doesn't have much nice scenes though he's most similar to the original anime.
4) China version is looking weird.


For Kim Joon's character:
1) China version looks pretty decent.
2) Best looking is still Kim Joon
3) Jap version looks too o l d but character wise is most similar.
4) Vaness's acting is totally out

so in conclusion:
it's either KOREAN or JAPANESE.
no China version or H4 please.

they're definitely going to pale in comparison with the better looking Koreans or cooler Japanese characters.
